First off, Happy New Year everyone! I hope all of you had a nice Christmas and New Years. I’m really looking forward to what all 2012 has in store. Stay up to date with what I get into throughout the year by liking my Facebook and following me on Twitter. You can also find me on Instagram — @KarlQPoynter. Read on to check out a little of what I’ve been up to lately.
I spent Christmas day in Fort Wayne, IN and managed to ride a concrete park I’ve been wanting to hit for a while now. It’s a skate only park (which is a shame) and I figured what better day to ride it than on Christmas. It was a success to say the least. Not to mention the weather wasn’t bad, which is very rare here in Indiana during December. *Sorry for the lack of photos of my session. This was a solo mission and I was too busy riding and watching for someone to cry about bikes being at the park.
Tons of unique set-ups here.
Believe it or not, I spent the majority of time riding the bowl section. Felt good to carve around and learn the lines there.
Dinner at one of my all time favorite restaurants; an all vegan spot called “The Loving Cafe.”
This is the marks from a recent warehouse session where I spent close to an hour trying one backwards manual line. The good news is that I pulled it.
I moved closer to Indianapolis about three months ago, along with the move of my shop Hardcore Sportz. This photo below is a glimpse into my home. It’s finally starting to shape up.
Become a local at my shop, Hardcore Sportz. Swing by anytime and be sure to like our Facebook and follow us on Twitter. A bunch of jams and other events coming this year!
And last but not least, my girlfriend Katelyn and I recently discovered an amazing sushi spot. I’ve never been a huge sushi fan until now.
